Embrace Advance Extendable Paediatric Hospital Bed

At last, here is a fully electric, extendable paediatric hospital bed that seamlessly expands to an adult-sized bed with minimal entrapment potential!

The Embrace Advance Paediatric Bed has replaced the Horizon 30 Cot. A new and improved two-section paediatric ward bed with the facility of an electrically operated bed extension measuring (28cm). It is fully electrically operated via 24-volt DC actuators. Battery backup is standard to allow a minimum of eight hours of full operation. It can also be manually operated.

The Embrace Advance extendable paediatric bed has clean, modern lines and adheres to the highest standards of safety and infection control. Designed for patients of a variety of ages. Electrically operated backrest movements, Trendelenburg, reverse Trendelenburg positions, and platform height adjustments. The key feature of this bed is the extendable mattress platform.

Other Features:

• The Backrest is electrically operated
• Manual override in case of battery depletion
• Backrest frame is oval powder-coated steel tubing
• The back rest cover is removable and made of Thermo-shaped ABS with aeration holes
• Fixed section is made of HPL panel 6mm thick with aeration holes.
• Bed extension runs on strong guides
• There are two accessory carriers
• Trendelenburg, and reverse Trendelenberg are activated electrically as well as deck height
• Four-wheel lockable simultaneous or directional lock wheels can be supplied
• CPR release via red levers on either side of the Embrace Advance are fitted
• The patient comfort controls can be locked via the caregiver control panel at the foot end
• Side rails are manually adjustable in height
• The listels adjust when the bed is extended
• The Embrace Advance has Plexiglas transparent head and footboards that are 8mm thick. These can be removed.
• A waterproof viscoelastic memory foam mattress is supplied as well as a mattress extension
